St. Marx is an open public space in Vienna.
Over the past decade, the empty lot has developed into various community initiatives, including gardening projects, a skatepark, performance, pubic happenings and markets. Now, the space is planned to become a concert stadium, mainly targeting people who would fly in for events. Many see this as a waste of city money and an aggressive capitalist move.
